Welcome to the Clarence Valley Multicultural Festival (“the Festival”, “we”, “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules for purchasing tickets, participating as a vendor or performer, and attending the Festival.
By purchasing a ticket, registering as a vendor/performer, or attending, you agree to these Terms.
1. Ticket Sales & Entry
- All ticket sales are final — no refunds will be issued except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Tickets are valid for the date(s) specified at the time of purchase.
- Entry may be refused if a ticket is damaged, duplicated, or suspected of being fraudulent.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Wristbands (where issued) must be worn at all times while inside the Festival grounds.
2. Event Changes & Cancellations
- The Festival reserves the right to alter the program, schedule, or venue without prior notice.
- In the case of cancellation due to weather, safety, or other circumstances beyond our control, tickets may be refunded or credited for future events at our discretion.
- We are not liable for travel or accommodation expenses in the event of a cancellation.
3. Attendee Conduct
- All attendees must respect fellow festival‑goers, staff, volunteers, and performers.
- Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or offensive may result in removal from the Festival without refund.
- No illegal substances, weapons, or dangerous items are permitted on site.
- Alcohol consumption is only permitted in designated areas for attendees 18+ with valid ID.
4. Photography & Media
- By entering the Festival, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
- Images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our media team upon arrival.
5. Vendors, Stallholders & Performers
- All vendors and performers must be approved by the Festival in advance.
- Vendors must comply with local council, food safety, and public liability insurance requirements.
- Stall spaces must be kept clean and vacated at the agreed time.
- Performers must adhere to agreed performance schedules and safety requirements.
6. Liability
- The Festival is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property while attending the event.
- Attendees enter at their own risk and agree to take reasonable care of themselves and others.
7. Accessibility & Inclusion
- The Festival is committed to being inclusive and accessible to all community members.
