Lilian Hong
Lilian Hong is the inaugural Multicultural Coordinator for TAFE NSW North Coast and Chair of the Clarence Multicultural Network. Covering 12 local government areas from Port Macquarie to Tweed, she builds cross-sector partnerships that connect multicultural communities with education, training, and employment pathways.
A community-driven leader, Lilian has led initiatives such as Migrant Education & Employment Expos, Law/Safety/Wellness events, and multilingual TAFE sessions, while fostering collaboration with councils, health, police, service providers, and local businesses. With experience in community engagement, board leadership, and inclusive program design, she is recognised for turning ideas into measurable outcomes and amplifying diverse voices across the region.
